Nexus 5X – The Champ is Back!

If you are a hardcore Nexus fan like me, you probably would’ve heard about the Nexus 5X, which is the successor to the hugely popular Nexus 5. Partnering with LG, Google brings the latest Nexus loaded with ton of hardware changes and also Android M, to the market. Also I am participating in the #ChampIsBack activity at BlogAdda, hence this blog post.

Nexus 5X has duly succeeded its predecessor, Nexus 5. It has the same plastic feel that Nexus 5 had and also doesn’t seem much bing on the hands. Seeing from the ads and demos, I’ve already fell in love with the Nexus 5X. Following are the three features, I am waiting for the most:

Nexus 5X, Display

1. Display

The display in Nexus 5X is solid. I MEAN literally solid. It has a wonderful 5.2” display, adorned with a stunning Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3. Though the resolution remains the same as compared to Nexus 5, but we might see major improvements in the display department.

Nexus 5X, Camera

Nexus 5X Camera

2. Camera

The camera is where we see the biggest improvement in specs. The old 8-megapixel Nexus 5 camera is ‘chini-kum-chai’ in front of the 12.3MP rear camera in the Nexus 5X. It has a pixel size of 1.55μm, f2.2 aperture and can record 4K videos flawlessly. Seeing the specs, we might even gather a group of cheerleaders to scream C-A-M-E-R-A!!

Nexus Imprint

3. Nexus Imprint

And, finally. How can I miss out on the Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner. It is quite conveniently located where the index finger can easily reach. And according to the documents, it can scan a print in whooping 600ms. Well that is quite something!!

Well, concluding the post, I think Nexus 5X will be a definite game changer. With its innovative new features, I believe it will succeed in capturing the market.
